Bursting with delightfully fruity notes of jammy joy, let's hear it for our first Rwandan coffee of the season, Tumba. Founded in 2007, Tumba is privately owned by Venuste Mugiraneza, one of the original investors and founding members of the washing station. Located in the northern province of Rwanda, Venuste is a local to the area Tumba is located in and as a result has a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of farmers in the region. A former teacher he has built his expertise while putting Tumba on the map for producing some of the best speciality grade coffee Rwanda has to offer. Bringing together everything there is to like about speciality coffee, flavour, texture and sweetness lifted by sparkling acidity, Tumba is a must. Jammy blackcurrant ending on a high note of zesty lime makes for the perfect morning brew. Enjoy!
